Print screen adalah proses “memotret” kondisi terkini yang sedang ditampilkan di layar komputer Anda. Jadi hasil print screen ini nantinya berupa file foto. • Anda sudah bisa melihat hasil print screen Anda di desktop.

2. Untuk melakukan print screen sebagian wilayah tertentu pada layar :

• Tetap seperti di atas juga, pastikan kondisi layar yang Anda lihat sekarang sudah sesuai dengan yang ingin Anda print screen.
• Tekan tombol ⌘ + Shift + 4 lalu lepas semua tombol tadi.
• Kursor pada mouse Anda akan berubah menjadi +.
• Buat kotak yang menandakan wilayah yang akan anda print screen. Caranya, klik tahan mulai dari sudut kiri atas kotak yang Anda buat, lepas di sudut kanan bawah kotak tersebut. Atau istilah lainnya, drag kursor sampai mencakupi seluruh wilayah yang ingin Anda print screen.
• Keadaan di dalam kotak tadi sudah disimpan di desktop dalam bentuk foto.

3. Untuk melakukan print screen salah satu window atau jendela aplikasi saja, maka cara yang bisa dilakukan sbb :

• Tetap seperti di atas juga, pastikan kondisi layar yang Anda lihat sekarang sudah sesuai dengan yang ingin Anda print screen.
• Tekan bersamaan tombol ⌘ + Shift + 4 lalu lepas semua tombol tadi.
• Kursor pada mouse berubah menjadi +
• Klik tombol spasi pada keyboard.
• Kursor pada mouse sekarang berubah menjadi gambar kamera.
• Klik pada jendela aplikasi yang ingin Anda print screen.
• Hasilnya bisa Anda lihat di desktop.
